"I am fascinated by the relationship between plants and water. Ever since my MSc thesis, when I studied stomatal conductance of external page riparian vegetation, I have been growing an interest in the "green" water cycle, the water fluxes controlled by vegetation. My PhD project is carried out at WaldLab, our study site in the forest near ETH Hönggerberg where we track and measure water fluxes. I study plants under drying soil conditions and investigate how hydrological models reflect these observations."

"I am interested in deciphering water’s movement through and interactions with ecosystems. My PhD project focuses on tracer-aided ecohydrological modelling of sites across the Alps, Lapland, and the Himalayas. The models will provide insights into the hydrological processes of snow-dominated ecosystems and how these processes may evolve under changing conditions."
