On the pulse of sediment transport during e-floods
Experimental floods released from dams for ecological purposes also bring along large amounts of fine sediment which need to be measured. An example of such an application is produced here by Jessica Droujko from the HYDROL group.

Jessica Droujko and colleagues used new high-resolution sensors from external page www.riverkin.com to monitor the passage of fine sediment released by the annual experimental floods from the Ova Spin Dam along the Spöl River. This work which was just published in the external page J of Environmental Management, shows the importance of such monitoring for ecological purposes.
