Introduction to Water Resources Management
The course aims at an introduction of principles and tools of (sustainable) water resources management. It focuses on understanding:
- the basic principles of competitive use of water resources
- methods used to determine water demand and water availability
- methods used to design water resources infrastructure
- interaction between water infrastructure and rivers
- principles of environmental impact assessment
- principles of economic and reliability analysis
